Controversy over landing of a US military plane in Libya’s Benghazi

In interesting news, a Boeing C-17A belonging to the United States Air Force landed Saturday at Benina International Airport in Benghazi.

Itamilradar, which specializes in monitoring aircraft movement, stated that the American plane disappeared from all tracking sites at about 7:22 CET over the central Mediterranean before it reappeared at 9:12 off Libya on a westbound flight.

Saturday, activists circulated news of a quick three-hour visit by a delegation from the US Central Command to the city of Benghazi, while no official body announced whether or not the details of the visit are ture.
