Brent crude prices impacted by Libyan oil resumption

Oil prices fell, with the opening session on Monday affected by the resumption of production in Libya, in addition to the increasing cases of Coronavirus undermine global demand.

Brent crude fell 33 cents at 10.00 am Libyan time, recording 42 dollars and 82 cents a barrel, while US crude fell 38 cents, recording 40 dollars and 73 cents a barrel.

Libya has resumed oil production and export operations, as the Harika oil port prepares on Thursday to receive the oil tanker coming from the Netherlands, to ship crude of Al-Sarir field as the first shipment to be exported after the National Oil Corporation announced the lifting of the force majeure on oil ports.
