Power cuts’ crisis impacts Covid-19 testing capacity

In a remarkable decline in the numbers of new infections, Libya recorded, on Saturday, 318 cases of Coronavirus and 338 recoveries, in addition to two deaths.

The National Center for Disease Control said that this decline in the outcome of injuries on Saturday came due to the decrease in the number of samples that were examined as a result of technical and logistical difficulties that stopped some laboratories from working, including frequent power cuts and the lack of fuel, especially in the southern regions.

The total number of Corona injuries in Libya rose to 41,686 cases, including 17,272 active cases and 23,791 recoveries, in addition to 623 deaths.
