The European Union mission operating in Libya revealed that many personalities and entities have been placed on the sanctions lists.
The EU mission stated that it had placed 16 individuals under travel ban restrictions, in addition to 20 individuals and 19 entities under an asset freeze because of their threats to peace, stability and security in Libya.
The European delegation added that the European Union decided to activate all relevant UN Security Council resolutions including the listing, which resulted in a travel ban for 28 people and a freeze on the assets of 23 others.
These European efforts come within the framework of targeting those who undermine the peace process in Libya and to support the political process.
