The National Oil Corporation announced the lifting of the status of “force majeure” on the “Al Feel” field, as of Monday, and the end of the blockades in all Libyan oil fields and ports.
In a statement published on its official page, the NOC said that it had instructed the operator, Mellitah, to start production from Al Feel oil field, and to gradually return Mellitah crude to its normal levels in the coming days.
In this regard, the Chairman of the Board of Directors stressed the importance of controlling media discourse related to production; He stressed that the only reliable source to announce the expected production quantities is the Production Department at the National Oil Corporation, in line with the arrangements in place in the Joint Ministerial Committee for Oil Production Control of “OPEC and OPEC+.
