Arms Watch revealed flights through which the United States transported private military contractors from Libya to Europe, specifically from Benghazi to the Bulgarian capital, Sofia.

The site notes that the US military contractors operating in Benghazi were transferred to the Bulgarian capital on October 28, 2020, via Malta using two aircraft.

According to information obtained by Arms Watch, citing sources at Sofia Airport, the first Boeing 767 is operated by Omni Air.

The airliner was contracted by the US Transportation Command to transport passengers and goods for the benefit of the Pentagon, under a contract worth 19.8 million dollars, according to information from the US Federal Contract Registry, and these flights are special-status military flights operated by civilian aircraft.

The other aircraft to take part in these flights is a Saab 2000 model operated by European air transport company NyxAir.
