Armenia confrims with evidence Turkey’s transfer of terrorists from Libya to Karabakh

Armenian Foreign Minister Zahrab Mnatsakyanian revealed that there is compelling factual evidence of the existence and continued transfer of foreign terrorist fighters by Turkey from Syria and Libya to the battlefields of Karabakh.

The minister added in statements to “Sputnik International” that this information was confirmed by the intelligence of the countries participating in the presidency of the “Minsk” group of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe.

His statements came in response to the constant denial of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan of these allegations, despite the numerous reports that said Ankara was involved in transporting militants to the Karabakh conflict zone.

The Armenian Foreign Minister stressed that “no one can confirm that Turkey was acting as a neutral player in the context of the Karabakh conflict, including Turkey itself,” adding that Turkey considers this conflict an opportunity to project its power in another neighboring region – the South Caucasus – and it should not be encouraged.

“Turkey is using this position of exploiting the conflict and inflicting immense human suffering on the peoples of the region in order to project power.” He added.
