UNICEF in Libya has expressed grief over the death of an Eritrean asylum seeker in Tripoli.
UNICEF Special Representative Abdelkader Moss explained that he was terrified of the killing of a 15-year-old Eritrean asylum seeker in a shelter in Tripoli.
“He had dreams. He was entitled to live his childhood and fulfill his dreams.” The Special Representative said.
Earlier, the Canadian Embassy in Libya condemned the incident on its Twitter account, and called for a full investigation and the prosecution of the perpetrators.
