Syrian Observatory: 18.000 mercenaries in Libya are being paid $40 million a month

Al-Arabiya Al-Hadath cited the director of the Syrian Observatory, Rami Abdel-Rahman, as saying that there are more than 7,000 mercenaries of Syrian nationality and more than 10,000 “jihadists”, a quarter of whom are of Tunisian nationality belonging to groups classified as “terrorist”, that have been transferred from Syria to Libya.

“Abd al-Rahman” – according to the media office of the director of the observatory – indicated that at the height of the mercenaries’ presence in Libya, there were 18,000 people whose salaries reached 40 million dollars a month, while he asked about (who was paying these sums?

“Is it from the Government of National Accord or From another country? Certainly, Turkey did not pay that money because it takes the money and does not give as it did in the refugee file.” He added.
