The Minister of Interior in the Government of National Accord, Fathi Bashagha, stated that the next government must be a national unity government that brings together all Libyans and unites all Libyans around it without preference or discrimination, saying there is no place for exclusion or marginalization.
Earlier, Bashagha expressed his participation in the endeavors to form a unified government, “I am very proud to participate in this transparent democratic process, as a candidate for the post of prime minister of the national unity government.
He added in a series of tweets on his Twitter account, “You can’t wait any longer. We are one kilometer from the successful conclusion of a long and sometimes challenging process. Failure is not an option.”
