Dbeibah presents new executive authority’s work-plan

The head of the new Libyan government, Abdul-Hamid Dbeibah, believed that the members of the Libyan Political Dialogue Forum had given priority to the peaceful solution and the tools of democracy over the tools of war and conflict, referring to the election of his list exclusively.

Dbeibah said, in a video statement, on Saturday, that “our victory is symbolic of the victory of national unity and achieving the desired democracy,” stressing that he would be keen to fulfill his obligations towards the elections.

Dbeibah added that consensus on a roadmap will be a path to end the conflict and reach elections to end the transitional stages, adding that he will be ready to work with everyone with different ideas, components, sects and regions.

On Libya’s foreign relations, he stressed “the commitment to strengthening cooperation relations with friendly countries and developing brotherly relations with neighboring countries in a way that serves the national interest,” calling on all countries without exception to be partners with his government in achieving stability in the region.
