The Head of the Presidential Council, Mohammed Menfi, met during his visit on Friday to the city of Tobruk, with a delegation of members of the House of Representatives.
Menfi discussed the issue of the parliament meeting and the session to be held in the coming days, as well as setting the necessary arrangements to consider granting confidence to the new government, as soon as it presents its formation to the House of Representatives In order to be able to carry out the tasks entrusted to it, according to what was reported by Menfi’s media office.
The Head of the Presidential Council arrived in Tobruk on his second official internal visit since taking office, after a visit he made two days ago to Benghazi.
In a speech he delivered upon his arrival in Tobruk, Menfi stressed three main priorities that must be worked on in order to overcome the transitional phase; the unification of the army, the unification of institutions and reconciliation.
