The Chairman of the National Oil Corporation, Mustafa Sanalla, received the United Nations special envoy for Libya Jan Kubis, and briefed him on the NOC’s role in managing the oil industry in Libya, and the services it provides to the Libyan citizen.
For his part, Kubis expressed his happiness with this visit, stressing the continued support of the UN mission for the efforts made by the National Oil Corporation to support Libya’s economy, and secure and bring financial resources to revive its economy.
Kubis praised the NOC’s success over the past years in adopting the principle of transparency, which strengthened its position locally and internationally, stressing the importance of preserving the independent and neutral role of the National Oil Corporation.
