218News learned that Turkish intelligence had contacted the Government of  in Tripoli, in the presence of the Turkish ambassador, Serhat Aksen.

Turkish intelligence informed the Government of National Unity that Turkish forces will continue to provide training and consultations, in accordance with the security and military agreements concluded with the previous government, in order to rehabilitate the security system under the umbrella of the new government.

The source confirmed to 218News that the Government of National Unity informed the Turkish side during the meeting that it will not continue contracting with Syrian mercenaries and will begin deporting them via Turkish airspace, since the contract with them was done by the Government of National Accord to support its forces during the war.

It is expected that Dabaiba, accompanied by the Head of the Presidency Council, Mohammad Menfi, will visit Turkey in the coming period, and they will announce from there that the agreements signed with GNA will continue to work with new mechanisms in line with the interests of the two countries and the local and regional political changes.
