The Speaker of the House of Representatives, Aqila Saleh, announced on Sunday the formation of a committee to announce the candidacy for state sovereign positions.
The committee’s tasks include receiving and sorting files and resumes, and verifying that they comply with the conditions required to take on one of these positions with the aim of reaching consensus on the occupants of leadership positions for sovereign posts, and presenting the names of candidates to the House of Representatives.
The committee consists of members of the House of Representatives, Ramadan Muhammad Shambash, Abdel Moneim Jumaa Salem Al-Arafi, Abdul Salam Muhammad Abdul Salam Al-Murabit, Al-Hadi Ali Muhammad Al-Saghir, Abdel Moneim Ammar Saad Balkour, and Salem Masoud Salem Qanan.
