The Speaker of House of Representatives, Aqila Saleh, received in the city of Al-Qubbah the report of the work of the committee for receiving and sorting the files of candidates for leadership positions in sovereign posts.
A member of the committee, MP Abdul Hadi Al-Sagheer, announced that the names of the candidates to hold the sovereign positions who have been counted, according to the requirements, will be handed over by the Presidency to the High Council of State.
Last March, the Speaker of House of Representatives announced the formation of a committee that would announce the opening of the door for candidacy for one of the leadership positions for sovereign jobs.
The committee’s tasks are summarized in addition to announcing the opening of the door for candidacy, receiving and sorting files and resumes, and verifying that they conform to the conditions required to hold one of these positions in order to reach consensus on the occupants of leadership positions for sovereign posts, and present the names of candidates to the House of Representatives.
The committee consists of members of the House of Representatives, Ramadan Muhammad Shambash, Abdel Moneim Jumaa Salem Al-Arafi, Abd al-Salam Muhammad Abd al-Salam al-Murabit, al-Hadi Ali Muhammad al-Saghir, Abdel Moneim Ammar Saad Balkur, and Salem Masoud Salem Qanan.
