The representative of the World Health Organization in Libya, Elizabeth Hof, was infected with the Coronavirus.
WHO stated that Hof did the “PCR” test, which is a routine and required procedure before travel, and her result was positive, knowing that she finally received the first dose of the Coronavirus vaccine.
The vaccines reduce the likelihood of symptoms appearing, and she is currently undergoing a two-week home isolation period.
The World Health Organization called on all groups at risk to take the Coronavirus vaccine and continue to take preventive measures, to reduce the risk of serious diseases.
