Algerian President, Italian PM discuss Libya’s developments

Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune discussed with Italian Prime Minister Mario Draghi a number of regional and international issues of common interest, including the situation in Libya, the Sahel and Western Sahara.

The two sides reviewed, during a phone call, the bilateral relations between the two countries and the prospects for their development, according to a statement by the Algerian Presidency.

The Algerian Presidency statement stated: “Today, the President of the Republic, Mr. Abdel Majid Tebboune, received a phone call from the Italian Prime Minister, Mr. Mario Draghi, in which he reviewed the bilateral relations between Algeria and Italy in all their aspects, the prospects for their development, and the commitment to expand them in various fields.”
