The activists of the “December 24 Movement” issued a statement about the situation in the country, calling for the need to consider adopting the budget for the Electoral Commission in order to be able to conduct its work, in addition to stressing the necessity of holding direct presidential elections by the people.
The statement also called on the government to improve basic services for the people, hold elections and not waste time on other programs that are not allowed by the current stage.
In a previous statement, the movement urged the Presidency Council and the Government of National Unity to expedite the preparation for elections on the specified date, with the sincere intention of all who are currently at the forefront of the political scene, to hold the elections on time, stressing not to allow more time to be wasted.
