Turkish Defense Minister Hulusi Akar confirmed that his country will continue to support Libya despite the provocations of Operation IRINI personnel.
Akar added that they are in contact with the countries concerned with the stability of the region, especially Egypt, with the aim of promoting peace in the region.
The Minister of Defense had previously expressed his hope that relations with Egypt would reach the level they should be, as soon as possible, stressing that the improvement of Turkish-Egyptian relations would benefit Turkey, Libya and Egypt.
