Libya’s Deterrence Apparatus arrests ISIS-linked criminal

The Counter-Terrorism Deterrence Apparatus announced the arrest of Ali Belaid Mohammad Ali Al-Adoli, one of the convicted persons in the case known as “Andkam Walaya – [Don’t you have relative women.]”

The deterrence apparatus indicated that Al-Adoli is the second person accused in the crime, as another suspect was previously arrested in the crime that shook the Libyan entity in 2016.

The crime, which took place inside one of the camps of armed formations in Tripoli, shook public opinion in Libya, after the spread of a video clip showing a girl being raped and blackmailed as she was begging those who attacked her, which ignited the anger of Libyans from all over the country.

Al-Adoli has been on the run since then, after carrying out the blackmail and filming operation, according to the statement of the Counter-Terrorism Deterrence Apparatus, which also revealed that Al-Adoli was one of those who fought with ISIS and was involved in many terrorist crimes and is wanted by the Public Prosecutor for several crimes.
