The Turkish Ministry of Defense confirmed, in conjunction with the conclusion of the “Berlin 2” conference, Wednesday, that it will continue to train the Libyan forces affiliated with the unity government.
The ministry said on its official account on Twitter: “Within the framework of the Agreement on Training, Cooperation and Military Consultations, we continue to train the Libyan Armed Forces. Explosive and IED training is provided to Libyan soldiers by our designated personnel.”
The Turkish military presence in Libya violates all international calls, including those issued on Wednesday after the “Berlin 2” conference.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Najla Al-Mangoush, confirmed that the next stage will focus on the timetable for the withdrawal of foreign forces from Libya.
In turn, German Foreign Minister Heiko Maas stressed, in a joint press conference with Najla Al-Mangoush, and the Under-Secretary-General for Political Affairs and Peacebuilding at the United Nations, Rosemary DiCarlo, the need to remove foreign forces and establish a ceasefire, and stressed that the withdrawal of all foreign forces was one of the reasons for establishing Conference.
