The Head of the Presidential Council, Mohammed Menfi, expressed Libya’s readiness to provide Tunisia with all the medical equipment it needs to confront the Coronavirus pandemic, after the decision to close the border with Tunisia due to the exacerbation of the epidemiological situation.
The Tunisian President, Kais Saied, stressed, during a phone call with Menfi, that this position is not strange for the Libyan people, and it translates the strong historical relations that exist between the two brotherly countries.
The Tunisian presidency indicated that there will be coordination with the Libyan side to resume normal movement of people and goods after the decline of the pandemic wave sweeping Tunisia.
