Forbes: Libyan economic data is missing

Libya was removed from the list in a recent report published by Forbes on the size of the Arab countries’ debt for the year 2021 in relation to the total output due to the absence and unavailability of local data.

Sudan topped the ranking of Arab countries, with its foreign debt reaching 211% compared to the GDP, followed by Bahrain, Lebanon, Egypt and Tunisia. The report did not include regions and countries that also suffer from instability, including the West Bank and Syria.

The “debtor and creditor” countries depend on economic data to promote development, identify weaknesses, and build strategic plans to improve the economy and develop the domestic product.
