HoR postpones questioning session of Libyan government

The House of Representatives announced Monday evening the postponement of the government’s questioning session, to clarify the question points contained in the memorandum of representatives and prepare responses.

Questioning was scheduled for Monday session on time, after Parliament spokesman Abdullah Blihaq confirmed that it would be held at the previously announced time, but the delay in arranging the memorandum of HoR members prevented that.

Before the postponement was announced, “218New” correspondent reported that the Speaker of the HoR, Aqila Saleh, and more than 60 MPs had arrived at the parliament headquarters in Tobruk.

For his part, MP Miftah Al-Shaeri told 218News: The agenda of the government accountability session is not steady, while MP Al-Salihin Abdul Nabi confirmed, at the same time, the government’s request to see the details of the questions, and that it may set a date next week to attend the session.
