The European Union mission in Libya considered that national reconciliation is a local process, pointing out that it constitutes the pillar of state building after the elections scheduled for next December.
The official page of the mission indicated that the statement came in response to the statement of the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Najla Al-MaAl-Mangoush, who noted that national reconciliation in Libya is a national effort that must come out of Libyan territory, with the need to support neighboring countries and international as well as regional organizations to benefit from their experience.
It is noteworthy that the Algerian capital hosted on August 30 and 31 the conference of foreign ministers of the neighboring countries of Libya, which resulted in support for the quadripartite agreement between Libya and neighboring countries to secure the borders.
