“218News” obtained the list of members of the Libyan Political Dialogue Forum (LPDF) invited to the Lausanne meeting, sponsored by the Humanitarian Dialogue “HD” center, which is parallel to the Political Dialogue Forum, led by the United Nations.
The list included 51 members of the forum, including Representative Rabia Abu Ras, Representative Khaled Al-Osta, Ahmed Al-Sharkasi, Amal Bugaighis, and Muhammad Abdul-Hadi Al-Qiblawi.
A week ago, “218News” learned of the existence of a meeting, to be held over two days; and brings together representatives of a number of parties, foremost of which are Taghyeer, Justice and Construction, and the National Salvation Front, under the auspices of the HD organization.
The meeting is considered a preliminary move to organize a mini Libyan dialogue, on September 18 and 19, in Lausanne, Switzerland.
This move raises questions about the role and relationship of the “HD” center with such a sensitive step, which reinforces fears of division and the failure of the December 24 elections.
