Norland: 5+5 JMC work is a military model to follow for Libyan politicians

US Ambassador to Libya Richard Norland said that the progress made by military leaders in the “5 + 5” Joint Military Commission could serve as a model for political leaders in reaching an agreement on the elections.

Norland statement came in a tweet commenting on the statement by the United  Nations Mission in Libya, in which it welcomed the signing of the action plan for the withdrawal of mercenaries, foreign fighters and foreign forces by the Joint Military CCommission

It is noteworthy that the Military Commission announced, in a statement, the signing of a plan to start the withdrawal of foreign forces and mercenaries from Libya, after three days of meetings in Geneva, where a comprehensive plan of action for the gradual, balanced and simultaneous withdrawal process was agreed upon.
