Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan is paying an official visit, the first of its kind, to the capital, Tripoli, since September 2011, during which he is likely to meet with the Prime Minister of the unity government, Abdul-Hamid Dbeibah.
An exclusive source confirmed to “218News” that “Erdogan” intends to visit Libya, next Friday, October 15, without disclosing more details about the visit and its agenda, while the Turkish presidency in Ankara did not announce, until Wednesday morning, any information about the visit.
Last August, the Libyan Prime Minister revealed the Turkish president’s intention to visit the capital, Tripoli, in October, to attend the second meeting of the “Libyan-Turkish Strategic Cooperation Council.
