Itamilradar website monitored Monday the flight of an Italian Air Force plane off the western Libyan coast.
According to the website, the ATR P-72A departed from Sigonella Airport in Sicily, Italy, and headed south to carry out a patrol mission off western Libya.
The flight of the Italian aircraft coincided with the flight of the US Air Force Lockheed EP-3E over the western region off eastern Tunisia, coming from Bay AB.
The website did not link the two planes, despite the intersection of their flight timings.
