Two UN Security Council sessions on Libya this November

The UN Security Council will hold two special sessions on the Libyan file in November.

According to the council’s agenda, which was published on its official website; the first session will be about the UN Support Mission to Libya, the elections file and the tasks of international observers, in addition to plans to withdraw foreign forces from the country.

As for the second session; it will be for the prosecutor of the International Criminal Court, where the court is expected to hear charges of war crimes and crimes against humanity against Gaddafi’s son, Saif Al-Islam.

The first session is expected to be held in the first half of November, while the second session will be held in the second half of the month.
