Greece criticizes Turkish policies, hails France as an ally

Greece praised the Paris conference on Libya, which it described as “very successful,” calling for the meticulous implementation of the recommendations adopted by the conference for the sake of the stability of the Libyan people.

This came during a press conference between Greek Foreign Minister Nikos Dendias and his French counterpart, Jean-Yves Le Drian, in Athens, in which the Greek minister launched an attack on Turkish policy in the eastern Mediterranean, which he accused of destabilizing and taking a hostile approach in the region, against the backdrop of the maritime conflict between the two countries, defending at the same time, the arms deals with France, which he said were not directed at anyone.

It is worth noting that Greece hosted on Friday the meetings of the foreign ministers of the “3 + 1” countries, with the participation of France, Egypt and Cyprus; to support Greece in its conflict with Turkey over the eastern Mediterranean gas fields.
