ICC to present Libya report to UN on Tuesday

The International Criminal Court said it is in the process of issuing a new report on Libya, which will be submitted by the new British court prosecutor, Karim Khan, the lawyer of Saif al-Islam Gaddafi.

The International Criminal Court stated on “Twitter” that Khan will present on November 23 the 22 report of his office on the situation in Libya to the United Nations.

Khan was sworn in as the new chief prosecutor of the International Criminal Court, succeeding “Fatou Bensouda”, pledging to perform his duties and exercise his powers as a public prosecutor of the Court with honor, honesty, integrity and conscience.

It is worth noting that the report of the International Criminal Court on Libya next Tuesday coincides with Saif Al-Islam Gaddafi’s candidacy for the upcoming presidential elections, while the international arrest warrant issued against him is still in force since 2011.
