The member of House of Representatives, Abdel Moneim Al-Arfi, confirmed to 218News that the parliament session to be held next Monday will be devoted to discussing the issue of appointing a new prime minister, to replace Abdul-Hamid Dbeibah, who currently occupies the position temporarily after withdrawing confidence from him.
Al-Arfi added that some members wish to run for the position, as the names will be put up for circulation to choose an influential and effective figure in the political scene in partnership between the presidency of the Council, representatives and political actors, noting that the session has not yet been determined whether it is going to public or closed.
It is noteworthy that HoR Speaker Aqila Saleh called for a session next Monday, without announcing its agenda, as sources said that it would aim to determine the fate of the Parliamentary Road Map Committee.
