Dbeibah: New government won’t work in reality and won’t have a place

The Prime Minister of the unity government, Abdel Hamid al-Dabaiba, said that the new government headed by Fathi Bashagha will not actually work even for one day and will not have a place, pledging that his government will continue to work until the June elections and hand over power to an elected authority.

In a televised statement, Al-Dabaiba considered that the House of Representatives adopted the method of fraud and fabrication in forming the new government to pass the extension and coup project, and that what has been happening for years in the House of Representatives has systematically closed the constitutional circuit, noting that granting confidence to the new government, which he described as parallel, was done in a formal manner in order to legitimize mandate extension despite its violation of the political agreement.

He revealed that a number of deputies whose votes were counted did not participate in the vote, including one from Tripoli and another from Gharyan, accusing the council presidency of calculating unknown votes through voice messages claiming that they care for the council’s membership.

Dabaiba pointed out that the new government enabled parties involved in bloodshed in the joints of the state, in which the defeated seeks to return in twisted ways, predicting that the end of it will be failure and defeat, adding that the Libyans are waiting for the UN mission to assume its responsibilities in conveying the true image to the international community.
