The National Oil Corporation(NOC) lifted the force majeure, and announced the opening of the Rayayna valves and the resumption of production at the El Sharara field.
The NOC stated, in a statement, that crude oil pumping operations began gradually, on Monday, at 01.00 am, noting that its technical teams carried out maintenance work on the valve that was sabotaged by outlaw groups, according to the statement.
On Sunday, the National Oil Corporation announced a state of force majeure on the El Sharara and El Feel fields due to the closures, which caused the loss of 330,000 barrels per day, and losses exceeding 160 million dinars.
