Syrian Observatory: 40.000 fighters registered to go fight in Ukraine

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights confirmed that more than 40,000 Syrian fighters have registered to go to Ukraine to fight alongside the Russians.

The director of the observatory, Rami Abdel Rahman, said in statements that these people will go in exchange for financial temptations and great privileges, noting that so far no one has left Syria to fight in Ukraine.

It is noteworthy that Russian President Vladimir Putin recently stated that volunteers wishing to fight alongside Russian forces be allowed to go to Ukraine, in response to the Ukrainian President’s call to open his country to foreign volunteers wishing to fight Russian forces.
