Bashagha welcomes US State Department’s ten-year strategy to end conflict in Libya

Libyan Prime Minister Fathi Bashagha welcomed the strategy announced by the US State Department which aims to support local and regional stability.

In a tweet, Bashagha said: “The Libyan people welcome the opportunity to work with the US State Department in order to support stability locally and in the region,” stressing that Libya “will be a partner in peace and prosperity for our friends and neighbors”.

The US State Department had announced a “ten-year strategy”, for the purpose of ending the conflict and restoring stability to Libya and a number of countries in the region, according to what US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken said in a tweet.
