Human rights activist Emadeddin Muntasser confirmed that the US Federal Court judge in Virginia issued recommendation for a default judgment against Khalifa Haftar and to substantiate the requests of the victims accusing the latter of committing murder and torture.
Muntasser expected, in a video recording on Friday, that the major judge in the case would accept this recommendation approved by the judge in the hearing, and ratify it to become a final ruling that would transform Haftar from being accused of crimes against humanity to a convict, in order to launch the second phase of the criminal prosecution of war criminals.
