Government of the National Accord (GNA)’s Ministry of Interior denounced all allegations claiming that number of its members have assaulted journalists in Libya.
In a Friday statement, the ministry demanded all reporters and journalists who have information regarding a specific incident to issue official complain instead of using social media to provoke people.
The ministry also promised to hold a meeting with the media outlets representatives and figures along with human rights institutions to discuss the situation of journalists and media inside Libya amid the current circumstances.
