Tawergha police station re-opens

Tawergha police station was re-opened on Saturday evening in a step towards  the city’s security and stability.

The reopening of the police station came in the presence of Libya’s interior minister Fathy Bashga, the commander of the Central Military Region, members of Municipal Council of Misrata, and a number of officials and residents of the city.

On November, Libya’s ministry of local administration in the interim government approved the allocation of LYD8 million ($5.7 million) to develop a number of service sectors in the city of Tawergha, Misrata.

The interim government said the money will be distributed to education sector for school maintenance, health sector, service sector, and infrastructure improvement.

Some of the allocated funds will be disbursed urgently to the most affected sectors in the city.
