The members of the Sirte Protection Force staged a protest demanding the Presidential Council and the National Government of Accord to provide the forces with financial and logistical support.
The Libyan officials should release their yearly bounce of 2018 and look into other financial demands, the members of the force said in a statement, emphasizing that their demands are crucial to continue their work which includes repelling the dangers of ISIS.
The forces held the Presidential Council responsible for the consequences if their demands are not met, especially after the force’s “great sacrifices” in liberating the city of Sirte from ISIS.
