Libya partakes in OMC 2019 in Italy

A delegation of Libyan oil and energy companies participated in the Offshore Mediterranean Conference and Exhibition (OMC 2019) held between 27-29 March in Ravenna city, Italy.

High-level delegations from Arab and European countries also partook in the OMC to discuss the development of the oil and gas sector in their countries.

Libya seeks to improve its oil production by attracting new foreign investments. The Libyan National Oil Corporation (NOC) announced last week it aims to raise its production this year to about 1.4 million barrels per day.

Mustafa Sanalla, chairperson of NOC, stressed in a previous statement on the importance of the participation of foreign institutions in the infrastructure development of the oil and gas sector in Libya.
