Libyan boxer Zinad to compete over WBF International belt

Libyan-born boxer Malik Zinad will play against Cuban boxer John Curtains at the Intercontinental Malta Hotel on May 25 over the WBF International Light Heavyweight belt.

Zinad, 24, is the reigning WBF International Light Heavyweight Champion.

The height of the Cuban boxer is 1.83 meter and weighs 79.5 kilograms, while Zinad is 1.84 meter and weighs 78 kilograms.

Cortins played 16 games, losing 15 games, of which 12 loses by knockout.

Zinad was born in the Salah Al-Deen area of Tripoli and made his professional debut in October 2015.

He was forced to leave Libya in 2013 to escape armed conflicts after the 2011 revolution.

Last month, Zinad beat Cuban boxer Julio Acosta in Malta as part of the International Boxing Association championship.

Zinad won his 12 latest games with knockouts.
and won the title of the World Boxing Federation (WBF) International Light Heavyweight Champion in September 2016 by beating Attila Palko by a technical knockout (TKO) in Maribor, Slovenia.
