Head of the Government of National Accord (GNA) Faiez al Sarraj, met on Monday with Minister of Interior Fathi Bashagha to discuss the security situation in Tripoli and its surroundings and neighboring cities.
According to GNA statement, the meeting discussed the security strategies and plans to preserve security around Tripoli.
Regarding the electricity crisis that hit the city as a result of the ongoing clashes, the meeting stressed the need to follow up with the General Electricity Company and coordinate with it to control and solve the crises.
Sarraj and Bashagha also discussed the situation in Ghat city and how to address the situation of the affected people as a result of the floods that swept through the city previously.
