WHO says working on enhancing quality of healthcare in Libya

The representative of World Health Organization (WHO) in Libya, Abdelaziz Al-Hallafi, has visited health facilities at the municipalities of Labreg and Al-Gaigab upon an invitation by the High Council of Municipalities of Labreg, Al-Gaigab and Al-Gubba.

The WHO representative was received by the Head of the High Council of Municipalities and the Head of Social Council as well as the Deputy Head of Health Service Department in Labreg.

He later toured the medical facilities, such as diabetes clinic, neonatal intensive care units and vaccinations as well as Labreg Village Hospital and other clinics and medical facilities in the municipality itself and the Village Hospital of Al-Gaigab.

The WHO representative had a look at the shortages that the medical facilities need to provide better services to patients and reiterated that WHO is exerting efforts to enhance the quality of medical services provided to people across Libya.
