Terrorist involved in Brak Al-Shati attack depicted

Libyan well-informed sources said a dangerous terrorist by the name Ahmed Abdeljalil Al-Hasnawi was seen in southern Libya with Al-Qaeda militants.

The sources told Al-Ain News that using a white Chevrolet, the terrorist’s movements in the dester were depicted by intelligence agencies.

Al-Hasnawi is an internationally and locally wanted terrorist for his links to terrorist groups inside and outside Libya.

As Al-Qaeda leader in southern Libya, Al-Hasnawi is tasked with providing logistic support for the Al-Qaeda in Maghreb and he has links with the Algerian militant Mukhtar Belmukhtar.

Al-Hasnawi took part in attacks on oil facilities with Ibrahim Jadran armed groups and led the deadly attack on Brak Al-Shati military base in May 2107.
