Italian Military Radar (Itamilradar) website, specialized in monitoring military aircraft, said a US drone was depicted flying over western Libya in a “surveillance mission somewhere in western Libya.”
The website showed a map for the west of Libya. In the meantime, US Africa Command carried out airstrikes on ISIS militants in southern Libya, killing 43 terrorists.
Former advisor to US President Donald Trump, Walid Phares, said on Twitter that the US airstrikes on ISIS militants will force the Muslim Brotherhood militias in Libya to stay away from ISIS, directly and indirectly, in order to avoid being on US air target lists.
