The Head of Moral Motivation Authority at the Libyan National Army, Khalid Al-Mahjoub, said Al-Baghdadi’s agenda and ideology reached and then harmed Libya, causing lots of division among groups in Libya so the LNA used them to eliminate many of ISIS militants in the country.
Meanwhile, the media office of the LNA published a video showing backup forces of the Brigade 106 and Brigade 166 moving toward Tripoli frontlines to support the LNA units positioned in there.
An LNA prominent official told Asharq Al-Awsat newspaper earlier that LNA’s final battle in Tripoli is very close and that the moment for the LNA forces to enter the city center of Tripoli is approaching after a radical change had taken place on frontlines as LNA forces pushed GNA armed groups away from Tripoli International Airport’s frontline following their failed attempt to seize the frontline.
The military official added that the operations of the LNA, the last of which on Sunday on Ahyaa Bariya and Kazirma frontlines, in southern Tripoli brought them significant control of positions that the armed groups were eager to keep.
