Chaos in Libya has become a threat to the neighboring countries that are trying to have a strict grip on their borders with Libya, especially after reports about dubious movements of smugglers and terrorists.

Neighboring countries of Libya are still sharing speculations about what would threaten their security and the security of the Sahel region.

Deby said terrorism in the Sahel region is linked to the chaos in Libya after the military intervention in 2011, saying Africa is now dealing with its ramifications that started 10 years ago.

Meanwhile, the Head of Sudan’s Transitional Government Abdullah Hamdouk said the quartet initiative should be implemented in order to have the borders with Libya monitored.
